Real sites, live right now

The businesses in the preview up top are made up. These two are real: built by me, live today, and kept up to date by the people they belong to.

sugarandspoonict.com
The Sugar & Spoon homepage: the line 'Baked & brewed in Valley Center, Kansas', the headline 'Cookies by the dozen, baked to order.', an Order a dozen button, a pink ticket showing the next market date, and the bakery's round pink logo

Sugar & Spoon

Cookie bakery · Valley Center, KS

A small-batch bakery that sells at local markets and takes orders ahead. The site carries the whole menu and the fall market calendar, and always shows the next market right at the top.

  • Cookies, cookie sandwiches, cupcakes, cookie cakes, holiday treats and cold brew
  • An order form that emails her directly, with her lead times built in
  • Her own editor for products, prices and market dates, so changes never wait on me
parkerdex.com
ParkerDex binder viewer: a two-page spread of photographed binder pages holding Pokémon cards, Caterpie through Brock's Sandshrew, with arrows to flip pages
Built for a friend · live

ParkerDex

Pokémon card collection

A home for a friend's Pokémon card collection. His real binders are photographed page by page, and you flip through them just like the physical binder.

  • Jump to any page, flip to a random one, or search for a Pokémon
  • A guide to his collecting spreadsheet, and a guest book where visitors leave notes
  • His own admin login, so he keeps the collection current himself

How it works

1

Free preview

Tell me about your business and I'll build a homepage preview — free. No meetings, no deposit, no strings.

2

Built in about two weeks

Like it? We set the scope and one flat price, then I build the real thing. Most sites are live in about two weeks.

3

It's yours

You own the site, the domain, everything. I can keep it fast, secure, and updated for $95/mo — or hand you the keys.

Why local businesses work with me

You own it outright

One flat price and the site is yours — domain, design, and content. No leasing your own website back from an agency, no hostage situations.

Built to be found

Fast load times, mobile-first, and set up properly on Google — so the customer searching "near me" at 7am finds you, not the shop across town.

Maintained so you never think about it

Updates, backups, security, and edits handled on a simple monthly plan. You run the business; I keep the website working.

A neighbor, not a call center

Nathan Collins with his family outside Valley Center, Kansas
Nathan Collins · Valley Center, KS

I'm Nathan Collins — I live on five acres outside Valley Center with my family, and I've spent my career in enterprise software systems. Collins Web Co is my one-man shop building websites for the businesses that keep this area running: trades, restaurants, salons, churches.

When you call, you get me. When something breaks at 7pm, you text me. That's the whole pitch.

Common questions

How long does it take?

About two weeks from our first conversation to a live site, most of the time. The free preview usually lands in a day.

What do I need to provide?

Photos of your work, your list of services, and one conversation about your business. I handle the writing, the tech, and Google.

I only have a Facebook page — should I keep it?

Keep it. Facebook is great for people who already know you. The website is for the people searching "near me" who don't — and it's yours, with no algorithm deciding who sees it.

Do I have to get the care plan?

No. It's optional and cancel-anytime. Some owners like handling updates themselves — I'll set things up so you can.

Who owns the domain and the site?

You do — outright, in writing. Domain, design, content, all of it. If we ever part ways, everything transfers to you free.

Can you build more than a website?

Yes — online ordering, booking, dashboards, and automations that save owner-hours. See what that looks like, or just mention it in the form below.

Need more than a website?

Some businesses outgrow a homepage. I also build small custom tools that work the way your shop actually works — quoted per project, and like everything else here, you own what I build.

Ordering & booking

Online ordering, appointment booking, quote-request forms — connected to how you already take orders, not a whole new system to learn.

Dashboards & back-office tools

See your business at a glance. I built an inventory-intelligence app for a Kansas retail store that scores its catalog health and flags dead stock automatically.

Automation that saves owner-hours

The reports you type up every week, the reminders you send by hand, the spreadsheet nobody updates — that's what computers are for. I make them do it.

Projects typically run $3,000–10,000 depending on scope, with an optional care plan from $195/mo — hosting, monitoring, fixes, and small changes handled. Same deal as everything here: you own what I build.

Tell me what eats your time

If a small tool would fix it, I'll say so — and if it wouldn't, I'll say that too.

See your business in a new light — free

I'll build a free homepage preview for your business using your own Google reviews. If you like it, we talk. If not, no hard feelings.
